Aging Policy For Classified Ads

While every effort is made to maintain an up-to-date website for our community, the transient nature of classified ads leaves something to be desired. To that end, certain decisions have been made which affect all classified ads on the website. The changes are as follows:

  1. Classified ads posted on the website are valid for up to 2 months.

  2. Classified ads are subject to removal after 2 months without notice.

  3. Residents can "refresh" their ad to prevent its removal.

    4. "Refresh" requests must be received prior to ad expiration. You can click here to begin a refresh request submission. In the ad text area, please include text requesting that your ad remain on the site - updates can be included in the "refresh" request.

  4. Post-removal, residents can send a request to have the item re-listed.

    5. A request for re-listing follows the same procedures as an original request - simply submit a request to the webmaster along with the ad text you would like posted by clicking here. Please keep in mind, I do not maintain records of ads and therefore have no way of restoring an ad once it has been removed.

  5. Currently, services ads will not be affected by this policy; however, they may be included in the aging policy in the future and are still subject to removal without notice. If you would like a service ad relisted, simply send an email to the webmaster with the text to be posted by clicking here. Select "Services Ad" in the drop-down list.

  6. In all instances, it's a good idea to drop me a note using the classified ad form every now and again if you don't want your ad removed.
